Group Exercise & Water Aerobics
RLA YMCA offers Group X classes to improve health and fitness, as well as help with accountability. All classes can be adapted for beginners as well as satisfy those looking for more of a challenge. Whether you’re new to group classes or have a lot of experience, you are welcome to join in our fun!
- All RLA YMCA members can try any class for free once!
- Gold Members can do any of our Group X classes for free!
- Adult classes are for those 18+, however exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. Reach out to the Program Director with any questions.
AM Sculpt
Formerly AM HIT, AM Sculpt is a low-impact strength class held in the weight room using machines, free weights, and other equipment. Targets all major muscle groups while building strength, endurance, and stability. Participants receive ongoing guidance to support proper technique and comfort with equipment.
- Ages 18+

AM Splash
Our AM Splash water aerobics class can be adapted for any skill or endurance level. In this no to low impact workout we use both shallow and deep water to build overall strength and cardiovascular endurance. You can increase resistance with use of our equipment: water weights, kick-boards, noodles, and more!

Silver Strength
Silver Strength a welcoming class for adults active older adults focused on building strength, improving flexibility, and supporting overall wellness. Guided exercises help promote balance, mobility, and confidence in everyday movement, while offering a fun, social environment to stay active and connected.

Total Body is an energizing workout that combines light cardio and strength training to target all major muscle groups. Using hand weights and simple equipment, this class helps build strength, improve endurance, and keep your whole body moving. Suitable for a variety of fitness levels.
